The Friends Want Your Books!

Library patrons are delighted to see Book Sales have resumed after a two-year hiatus. The shelves just outside of the Community Room are fully stocked with gently-used fiction and nonfiction, many published this year and last. There is still a great assortment of travel books and guides that were generously donated by the owner of Traveler's Depot when this iconic store closed in 2020. Most paperbacks are priced at $1 and hardcovers at $2. Some vintage and specialty books are individually priced.

Please consider donating your new and gently used books to the Friends. Selling these books allows us to help support activities, programs and resources at the Del Mar Library. All books must be in excellent condition. No CDs, DVDs, VHS, encyclopedias/magazines/old textbooks. Please do not put donations in the Book Return boxes or leave them outside. Library staff is happy to accept one bag or one box at a time. If you have any questions, contact us at info@friendsdelmarlibrary.org.
