Join us for a lecture by Dr. Bernard Ellorin about the music of Southeast Asia. From gong ensembles to improvisatory singing, this talk focuses on music from diverse communities of practice. Divided between land and sea, Southeast Asian music reflects the landscape and belief systems of the people. Funded by the Friends through a grant from the Del Mar Foundation.
