The Del Mar Library is having its first live event at the Library this year, on December 16 at 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. This Author Talk features Angie Brenner discussing her new book, "Seeking Beauty: Jim’s Gift : A book about James Hubbell." Her book covers the life of artist and visionary James T. Hubbell, as well as the foundation he and his wife Anne created: Ilan Lael. You can see James Hubbell’s bronze casting “A River of Time” in front of the library.
Learn more about this remarkable man's life and the future of his work. A recipient of San Diego's Peacemaker Award in 2019 for his Pacific Rim Parks, James Hubbell will not be in attendance.
